Eastern Materials, Inc. (EMI) incorporated in California 1981. The company began operation in 1985 specializing in marketing and sales of industrial instruments and equipment from North America and Europe to the metal production and application industries in China. In the past decade EMI has generated over 100 million dollars in equipment sales. The company has had a branch office in China since 1989 and established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Eastern Materials, Inspection Equipment.-Beijing (EMI-BJ) in 1997. The establishment of EMI-BJ has enabled EMI to become a leading supplier of high quality, low-cost, assembled, electronic measuring, monitoring and control equipment while providing prompt and attentive after-sales services.
